Free RPG Day, Celebrating DnD's 50th at GameHoleCon, GenCon: Indy Reminders

Hello dear Readers!

On Saturday, June 22nd, you can pick up free games with your purchase at your friendly local game store or online stores like Noble Knight Games. Of the many, cool free RPG day offerings, you’ll find my science fiction-themed texting game, “Help BD738 Slash Run”, in the Level One | Volume 5 anthology from 9th Level Games. I’ve gotten the chance to read an advance copy, and there’s a ton of wonderful mini games in this issue. You definitely want to check it out!

If you’re one of my BooksOfM Patrons, you may recall I offered the game’s draft as a private reward. I’m happy to report the submission was accepted and will be published!

I’m also happy to report that I’m returning to GameHole Con as a special guest to celebrate Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary. My schedule is very full and at the moment I’m prepping for GenCon—so watch for an update after the big show in Indy.

Speaking of GenCon and the Writer’s Symposium, if you’re planning to attend my Using Tarot as a Storytelling Tool workshop, the session is almost sold out. For that workshop, you can bring your own deck or use a free deck online for the writing exercises—totally up to you. There are plenty of spots still available in my Adapting Stories to Games for Authors workshop. We’ll be performing hands-on techniques to make sure you’re fully versed in how to adapt your story, how to make a game, and what decisions come next.

That’s all the time I have for today. Next time, I’ll pop in with my random topic—environmentally-friendly, low-cost ways to beat the heat!
